The National Intelligent Engineering Equipment Industry & Education Integration Community was established in Weifang, led by SDUT, Goertek Co., Ltd., and Weifang Engineering Vocational Collegeon October, 22nd.
Leaders presented at the conference were CHEN Xiaoming (Director of the Machinery Industry Education Development Center), ZHOU Fenghua (Director of the Quality Monitoring and Guidance Department of the Ministry of Education), WANG Zhigang (Director of the Vocational Education Department of the Shandong Provincial Education Department), CHEN Duanmei (Deputy Mayor of Weifang Municipal People’s Government), GUO Qingbing (Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of SDUT), LV Yaoliang (Secretary of the Party Committee of Weifang Engineering Vocational College), and WEI Wenbin (Supervisor and General Manager of the Employee Management Department of Goertek Co., Ltd.). The conference was presided over by WANG Zhongshan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of Weifang Engineering Vocational College.
ZHOU Fenghua, WANG Zhigang, CHEN Duanmei, and LV Yaoliang delivered speeches respectively, fully affirming the significance of the community and putting forward requirements and expectations for the community.
GUO Qingbing and WEI Wenbin, on behalf of the leading units of the community, stated that they will strengthen close cooperation with members of the community, provide strong support for innovation of industrial technology and talent cultivation, and strive to achieve deep integration of the industrial chain, education chain, talent chain, and innovation chain.
At the conference, CHEN Xiaoming (Director of the Machinery Industry Education Development Center), and HUO Lijuan (Professor of Vocational Education Research Institute of the Beijing Academy of Educational Sciences) respectively delivered keynote speeches titled as “Innovation in the Construction of Industry-Education-Science Integrated Majors in the Equipment Manufacturing Field” and “Mutual Creation and Sharing, Building an Industry-Education Integration Community”. After the keynote speech, three sub sessions were held, and experts and scholars from well-known universities and enterprises invited delivered reports on the industry-education integration in the fields of intelligent engineering equipment industry, modern floral industry and cross-border e-commerce industry.
The Community Charter, the proposed list of member units, and the proposed list of the first council were signed and approved at the conference.
Representatives from more than 400 relevant government departments, industry associations, enterprises, research institutions, and universities attended the founding conference.
