Shandong University of Technology values international cooperation and Exchange highly and actively consolidates and develops international cooperation and exchange. At present, intercollegiate affiliations have been established with over ten universities and colleges in the United States , the United Kingdom , Australia , New Zealand , Austria , South Korea and Japan .

    SDUT attaches great importance to attracting international talents to work at this university in order to promote teaching quality. High-level foreign experts and scholars were invited to teach and lecture at the university. 123 person-times of international teachers and experts have been introduced to the university since 2002. “English Lecture Activity” hosted by foreign teachers and “English Classical Movies Appreciation Activity” greatly animated campus cultural life.

    The university makes every effort to develop overseas student education. At present, the university has accepted nearly 100 students from abroad. Complete rules and regulations and excellent teaching conditions have laid a good foundation for the university to enroll overseas students at a large scale.

    The university has actively created good conditions in order to select excellent Chinese students to enroll at sister foreign universities and colleges to study. Since 2002, about 40-50 students annually from our school had gone to England , Austria and Korea to further their education.

    The university has also actively explored new channels to cooperate with foreign universities to run teaching and training programs that have enhanced the internationalization of the university. For the time being, joint teaching and training programs with universities and colleges in the U.S. , U.K. , Germany , Australia , New Zealand and South Korea have been conducted.

    SDUT will further build internationally cooperative platforms for teaching and training programs to improve the development of international student education characteristic of this university. An international educational program “Double Hundred” has conducted, that is 100 students sent to study abroad and 100 international students enrolled into our university every year.
