Since its foundation ， Shandong University of Technology has energetically developed the course of its education for overseas students, together with a team of qualified teachers, we have accumulated much-needed experience, thereby achieving great progress.

    This course gives priority to the long and short term language education at present, with each having its own emphasis. The short-term education course centers on listening and speaking areas. That is to say, great importance is attached to improving the student's ability to listen and speak. As to the long-term education course, we offer lessons to the elementary, intermediate and advanced students according to their language level. Besides, the HSK tutorial lessons are also available. When their Chinese are good enough to attend lessons given in Chinese, they may then study in different departments.

    The boarding houses for the overseas students are well furnished. Facilities such as double-room, hot water, central heating, public kitchen, laundry and gymnasium are all available.

    Besides, we have appointed a teacher to supervise each class. He or she will be able to answer to the students' daily-life necessities and help familiarize and integrate them into the environment as smoothly as possible.

    Our education is characterized by carrying out various language practices for the students; encouraging them to participate in student organizations; maintaining a Chinese learning atmosphere for them; arousing their enthusiasm for study. We have achieved very good results in this respect.
