SDUT Alumna Du Li Won One Silver Medal and One Bronze Medal in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games

In the 31th Rio Olympic Games, SDUT Alumna Du Li won a silver medal in the women’s 10-meter air rifle competition on August 6th and a bronze medal in the 50-meter rifle three-position competition on August 11th, 2016 which helped to fuel patriotic enthusiasm and won more glory for China.

On August 6th, Du Li entered the final successfully by her scoring 420.7 points in the women’s 10-meter air rifle competition which had broken the record in the Olympic Games qualification tournament. In the final, Du Li won a silver medal by scoring 207 points.

In the women’s 50-meter rifle three-position final of the evening of 11th, Du played at a high level in the kneeling-position and prone-position and won a bronze medal by scoring 447.4 points. This was the second medal of Du in this Olympics, and also her fourth medal (2 gold,1 silver and 1 bronze) since her four times of participating Olympics. She is the first female player who won the most Olympic medals in the Chinese shooting team history!
