Recently, the People’s Government of Shandong Province released the decision of Shandong Province Science and Technology Awards in 2022, and SDUT won five awards, including two first-class awards and three second-class awards.
Among the five awards, the team of ZHAO Yugang from the School of Mechanical Engineering won the First Prize of Provincial Technical Invention Award for their work on “Key Technology and Equipment for Preparation of Mixed Powder Aerosolized Rapid Solidification Magnetic Abrasive and Finishing of Hard-to-Process Curved Magnetic Particles”, the team of XIONG Lixin from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering won the First Prize of Provincial Technical Progress Award for their work on “Large Capacity Switched Reluctance Motor and Its Application in Heavy Duty Electric Screw Press”. The following teams won the Second Prize of Provincial Technical Progress Award respectively: LI Cailin’s team from School of Architectural Engineering, with their project “Key Technology and Application of Fine 3D Modeling with Multi-Source Data Fusion for Multi-Scale Space”, LI Zhihe’s team from School of Agricultural Engineering and Food Science with their project “Key Technology and Application of Thermochemical Conversion of Agricultural Biomass”, and WEI Zhongcai’s team from School of Agricultural Engineering and Food Science with their project “Key Technology and Application of Mechanized Low-Loss Harvesting and Sorting of Potato”.
In recent years, SDUT has deeply implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, conscientiously fulfilled the mission of independently developing high-level science and technology, insisted on combining scientific research with national and regional major development strategies, closely focused on national strategies and local economic and social development needs, strived to improve the level of basic and applied research, encouraged and guided scientific research to solve key common technology problems of industries, major technological innovation problems of enterprises and major scientific and technological problems of regional development, and produced a large number of excellent scientific and technological innovation results. In the future, the university will further play the role of scientific and technological innovation-driven development, guide more scientific researchers to dofront-line scientific research, and strive to create more high-level scientific and technological innovation landmarks.
It is reported that in 2022, Shandong Province Science and Technology Award respectively established 2 provincial science and technology top awards; 10 science and technology youth awards; 1 first prize and 35 second prizes of the natural science award; 2 special prizes, 6 first prizes and 11 second prizes of the technological invention award; 1 special prize, 36 first prizes and 105 second prizes of the science and technology progress award as well as 4 international science and technology cooperation awards.
