SDUT’s Agricultural Sciences Discipline Entered Top 1% of ESI’s Global Ranking

On January 12th, Clarivate released the latest issue of Essential Science Indicators (ESI) statistics. SDUT’s agricultural science discipline has entered the top 1% of the ESI global ranking for the first time, marking the entry of this discipline into an international level. After chemistry, engineering, and material sciences, SDUT’s another discipline has been ranked in the top 1% of ESI, thus increasing the number of disciplines ranked in the top 1% to 4.

According to the latest data, SDUT’s ESI comprehensive ranking has improved by 28 places compared with the previous period. In recent years, SDUT has vigorously implemented the strategy of strengthening superior disciplines and the strategy of prioritizing precise development of talents, and the comprehensive strength of disciplines has been significantly improved. In the next step, SDUT will continue to focus on agricultural engineering and mechanical engineering disciplines, take modern agricultural equipment as the key development field, build a high-level chain of the disciplines, and accelerate the high-quality development of SDUT.
