Teacher of SDUT Won Another First Prize in National College Teaching Innovation Competition

On August 22nd, the third National College Teaching Innovation Competition, hosted by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and sponsored by the China Association of Higher Education, ended at Zhejiang University. After fierce competition, ZHANG Yan’s team from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering won the first prize in the intermediate and below basic courses group. This was the second time that our teachers had won the first prize after ZHANG Housheng’s team from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering won the first prize in this competition last year. In this competition, the group of intermediate and below basic courses set 4 first prizes nationwide. And universities in Shandong Province won four first prizes.

 

The National College Teaching Innovation Competition is approved by the Ministry of Education and included in the List of Reserved Items of the Three Evaluations and One Competition of Units Directly Affiliated with the Ministry of Education. It is the only college teaching competition for various disciplines, majors, and titles. This competition was divided into six categories according to the new engineering, new agricultural science, new medical science, new liberal arts, basic courses and ideological and political fields curriculum, and the participating teachers’ professional and technical position levels. Each category consisted of three groups: senior, deputy senior, as well as intermediate and below, totaling 18 groups. The competition was composed of online reviews and live finals. 23088 teachers from 32 nationwide regions participated in the provincial competition first, and 898 teachers from 239 courses were shortlisted for the on-site evaluation of the national competition after the provincial competition.
