On the morning of June 21st, SDUT held the graduation ceremony for the graduates of 2024, celebrating the successful completion of studies for 10,007 graduates who are now ready to embark on their bright futures.

The leaders of SDUT, LI Yuxia, DENG Changliang, SU Shoubo, NIE Faliang, GUO Qingbing, CHEN Shengwei, CONG Hailin and CHEN Jing attended the ceremony. Deans of each school, deputy Party secretaries in charge of student affairs, graduate counselors, faculty representatives, alumni representatives and graduates of 2024 took part in the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by CHEN Jing, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of SDUT.
As a prelude, the stage plays, band’s performance, traditional music ensembles, combination of songs and videos recorded by alumni warmed up everyone present, pushing the atmosphere of the scene to a climax.
Amidst the magnificent national anthem, the graduation ceremony began.

Leaders of SDUT presented graduation certificates, degree certificates and honorary certificates of outstanding graduates to the valedictorians.
In the melodious music, the graduate representatives presented flowers to the school staff representatives, thanked them for their dedication and hard work, and conveyed their respect, appreciation, and their most sincere wishes.
JU Zihan, an undergraduate of 2024 majoring in Information Resource Management, spoke on behalf of the graduates.
Professor LI Bo, a teacher from the School of Transportation and Vehicle Engineering, spoke on behalf of the faculty.
KONG Lingbo, a graduate of 2001 from the College of Agricultural Engineering and Food Science and the chairman of Acewill Information Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., spoke on behalf of the alumni.
President LI Yuxia made a speech entitled “Strive to Take on Responsibilities on the New Journey in the New Era”. By reviewing the wonderful life stories and outstanding performances of the graduates of 2024, she encouraged the students to continue working hard and to create a more colorful future.
At departure, president LI Yuxia expressed her hopes for the students. The first was to have the ability to “glow with beauty,” possess ideals and have a sense of responsibility. The second was to have the courage to “face difficulties and challenges bravely”, endure hardship and be willing to strive. The third was to have the quality to “be detail-oriented” and achieve a full life.
LI Yuxia said in deep feeling to the graduates that the time spent at SDUT will forever bind everyone with heartfelt memories. Though graduates part ways today, with mountains high and roads far ahead, hopes remain steadfast. May students bloom in radiant splendor as they dedicate themselves to the vibrant cause of building a modern socialist country in all respects.
In the chorus of “You Accompany Me”, the SDUT anthem, accompanied by the handover of the huge SDUT flag, the graduation ceremony came to an end.
The main venue for the ceremony was set up at the Comprehensive Gymnasium of Zibo Sports Center, with a branch venue at the auditorium of Students’ Art Center. To make it convenient and easy for teachers and students, alumni, parents, and friends from all walks of life to watch the ceremony, the university Media Center, in collaboration with Shandong Radio and Television, Public network, The Paper, Qilu Evening News and Zibo Radio and Television Station, broadcast the entire graduation ceremony live through official sites at platforms such as Tik Tok, Kuaishou, and WeChat Channel. A total of more than 3,000,000 people watched the ceremony online.
