SDUT signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shandong Intellectual Property Service Development Center in the conference room on the 9th floor of Hongyuan Building on December 5th. Leaders present at the signing ceremony were LIU Lu, secretary of the Party Committee and director of Shandong Intellectual Property Service Development Center, CUI Huanyong, standing committee member of the Party Committee and vice president of SDUT, and GUO Yihua, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of Zibo Municipal Market Supervision Bureau as well as Director of Zibo Intellectual Property Bureau. Participants included heads of relevant departments from Shandong Intellectual Property Service Development Center and Zibo Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, along with heads of Department of Science and Technology, Department of Social Sciences, Department of Cooperation and Development, the Library and Law School of SDUT.
On behalf of SDUT, CUI Huanyong delivered a speech. He briefly introduced the intellectual property work of SDUT and reviewed the cooperation and achievements with the provincial and municipal intellectual property service development centers. He stated that SDUT has been actively committed to strengthening the construction of the linkage mechanism with Shandong Intellectual Property Service Development Center. He hoped that both sides, with this strategic cooperation as a new starting point, would give full play to their respective advantages, promote SDUT’s construction of the provincial patent navigation base and the national intellectual property information service center in universities, facilitate the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, so as to realize the integrated development of the university and the government, continuously yield fruitful results, and make due contributions to the development of Shandong intellectual property service.
The two sides signed the strategic cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the two parties would carry out in-depth cooperation in areas of high-level talent intellectual property cooperation services, professional talent training and student practice base construction, basic research and continuing education cooperation in the field of intellectual property, the construction of intellectual property public information service platforms, and the transfer and transformation of patent technology.
LIU Lu and CUI Huanyong jointly unveiled the plaque of the Zhi Cai Xing Lu (Intellectual Property and Talent Make Shandong Prosperous) Intellectual Property Precision Service and High-End Innovative Talent Workstation.
LIU Lu stated that the signing of the agreement opened the prelude to the win-win development of both parties through leveraging their advantages in talents and resources. She expressed her hope that both sides would jointly tackle challenges, share opportunities, and plan for development, together creating a new chapter of complementary advantages and cooperative efforts. Shandong Intellectual Property Service Development Center would work together with SDUT to strive for excellence, taking the lead in intellectual property service development and government-university cooperation. This collaboration was expected to provide strong support for fostering new quality productivity in Shandong and achieving high-quality development, contributing more power of intellectual property to the construction of a strong province.
After the ceremony,the Development Center held discussion and exchange with high-level innovative talents from SDUT and scientific researchers from democratic parties, providing detailed answers to issues raised by the researchers, such as priority examination, fast-track pre-examination, and the drafting of claims.
