According to the arrangement of Shandong Provincial Party Committee, the mobilization meeting on the inspection of SDUT Party Committee by the third inspection team of the provincial party committee was held in SDUT. Before the mobilization meeting, YU Hongliang, leader of the inspection team presided a meeting with HU Xingyu, Party Secretary of SDUT Party Committee, to deliver the talk from the leaders of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee on inspection work, and brief on the relevant work arrangements. At the mobilization meeting, YU Hongliang made a mobilization speech and put forward requirements for inspection work. HU Xingyu chaired the meeting and delivered a talk.
The deputy leader and other members of the inspection team together with the bench of school leaders of SDUT attended the meeting, with heads of relative departments as well as subordinate units presenting.
YU Hongliang pointed out that since the Party’s 18th National Congress, the Central Committee of the Party with comrade Xi Jinping at the core have upheld the principle that education is of vital importance for the nation and the Party, given priority to the development of education, and made the major decisions to accelerate the modernization of education and build China into an education powerhouse. Inspection on the Party committees of provincial universities fully reflected that the provincial Party committee attached great importance to colleges and universities. It was an important measure to strengthen the Party’s overall leadership over higher education institutions, and ensure their adherence to the “Two Upholds”. It can promote universities in adhering to the socialist direction of running schools and fulfilling their duties and missions.It is also an important manifestation of maintaining a strict keynote and advancing the implementation of political responsibilities for full and rigorous Party self-governance. Moreover, it serves as a practical necessity for deepening the comprehensive reform of higher education in the new era and promoting the construction of a province renowned for its strong education system. The Party committee of SDUT should improve its political standing, and deeply recognize the significance of inspection work, accept the supervision with readiness, actively support and cooperate with the inspection team of the provincial party committee, and resolutely complete the inspection tasks assigned by the provincial party committee.
YU Hongliang emphasized that the provincial inspection team would adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implement the main ideas of the 20th CPC National Congress and the Second and Third Plenary Sessions of the 20th CPC Central Committee; and would fully implement the inspection policy, adhere to the positioning of political inspection, focusing on Xi JinPing's Educational Philosophy and the requirements of the major policy-making arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and provincial committees, with a close look on the duties and missions of the inspected universities, so as to strengthen political supervision and identify political deviations. The key point is to strengthen the Party’s overall leadership over universities, to ensure the implementation of the fundamental tasks of fostering character and civic virtue, and to forestall major risks, to deepen comprehensive reforms in the field of education and make significant advances in the full and strict governance over the Party, to strengthen the development of leadership teams, the cadre talent pool, and primary-level Party organizations, as well as the rectification of issues revealed through supervision mechanisms. Upholding the keynote to be strict, the inspection team would dig in the power and responsibility of the leadership group and the key minority, and address the acute problems people concerns and prominent issues, and effectively leverage the role of the inspection tours as a sharp instrument.
HU Xingyu expressed that the inspection of SDUT Party Committee is a thorough political examination of the university's leadership, Party members and cadres, which fully reflects the high regard and sincere concern of the provincial Party committee. SDUT would elevate its political stance, deeply recognize the significance of the inspection from the perspective of political awareness, discipline and rules, and regard the acceptance of the inspection as a major political task. And fully cooperate with the inspection work, firmly uphold the Two Establishments and resolutely achieve the Two Upholds through concrete actions.SDUT would enhance its political consciousness in actively accepting supervision, adopt a responsible attitude toward the Party's cause, the university's development, and the comrades, thoroughly identify issues, and report them truthfully, providing strong support for the inspection team to gain an accurate understanding of the situation and carry out their work effectively. SDUT should commit to advancing work and development through inspection, ensuring that the outcomes of these inspections are genuinely transformed into a powerful driving force for the high-quality development of the institution, contributing to the construction of an educational power and province.

The E-mail address is to log in on the website: http://www.sdjj.gov.cn/, click on the icon of email named “Mailbox for the 7th Round of Inspection by the 12th Provincial Party Committee”, and input relevant information as required.Besides, there are two letter-boxes in SDUT: one is on the west elevator hall of the first floor of Hongyuan Building, west campus; and the other is in the elevator hall of the third floor of library, east campus.According to the regulations on inspection work, the inspection team of the provincial party Committee mainly addresses letters, calls and visits concerning problems in relation to the leading group of the party Committee of SDUT and its members, the officials under the direct provincial leadership and the main leaders of the lower-level party organizations (all include those who have retired and been transferred). Reports on other Party members and officials will be handled in accordance with the management authority over official.To petition issues that bear no direct relation to inspection work, such as appeals and reports, suggestions and advice,legal-related issues, will be transferred to relevant departments according to relevant regulations.
