In the afternoon of March 21st, HU Xingyu, Secretary of the Party Committee of SDUT, presided over a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Party Building Leading Group in the conference room on the 9th floor of Hongyuan Building. The meeting conveyed and studied the spirit of relevant central and provincial party work conferences, and deployed SDUT's learning and education work to deeply implement the spirit of the eight-point decision on improving Party and government conduct. Members of SDUT’s Party Committee leadership team, heads of Party Building Leading Group, and secretaries of the Party committees of secondary units attended the meeting.
At the meeting, SU Shoubo, the deputy secretary of the Party committee of SDUT, conveyed the spirit of the Central Leading Group for Party Building, as well as the spirit of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and its Leading Group for Party Building. MA Guosheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee and Director of the Organization Department, reported on the implementation plan for carrying out the study and education and the composition of the working group. The participants discussed the relevant issues.
HU Xingyu delivered a speech, putting forward three requirements for carrying out the learning and education effectively:
First, fully understand the important significance of the learning and education, and align thoughts and actions with the CPC Central Committee decision-making arrangements. We must deeply grasp the strategic considerations of the CPC Central Committee, taking the learning and education as the concrete practice to firmly defend the Two Establishments and resolutely achieve the Two Upholds. Besides, we should adhere to strict standards and requirements to examine and improve ourselves, fulfilling duties loyally and taking on responsibilities courageously in promoting the high-quality development of SDUT.
Second, accurately grasp the goals and tasks of the learning and education to ensure practical results. We must highlight key learning contents, organize special learning sessions, carry out layered and classified education and training, and thoroughly study General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on strengthening Party conduct construction and the spirit of the eight-point decision on improving Party and government conduct. Take the initiative to benchmark and identify problems, dig into root causes, and conduct in-depth self-inspection. We should be brave to address issues directly, identify problems and rectify item one by one, and persevere in improving the long-term mechanism for conduct improving through rectification. Adhere to open education, follow the mass line of the Party in the new era, accept supervision from teachers and students, make good use of platforms such as serving teachers and students by solving their practical problems, and resolve the urgent and difficult issues so that they can truly feel the new atmosphere and changes brought by learning and education.
Third, strengthen organizational leadership to ensure the learning and education proceeds smoothly and orderly. Compress and implement responsibilities strictly: the working group should play an effective role in organization, coordination, guidance, and supervision. Heads of Party organizations at all levels should assume the primary responsibility, and team members should earnestly fulfill the Two Duties for One Post. Great attention must be paid to publicity and guidance to create an immersive atmosphere for learning and education. We should integrate the learning with key tasks, coordinating and promoting the study and education while focusing on tackling tough issues, in order to effectively transform the outcomes of the learning and education into practical achievements that drive SDUT forward.
