刘逸侃副教授简介

Dr. Yikan Liu is an applied mathematician broadly interested in inverse problems for partial differential equations and mathematical models. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2015 at Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences, The University of Tokyo. Then he became a postdoctoral researcher, a JSPS foreign postdoctoral fellow and a project research associate subsequently in the same university. Currently he is an assistant professor affiliated to Research Institute for Electronic Science, Hokkaido University (Japan). His research fields cover theoretical and numerical aspects of forward and inverse problems especially for hyperbolic-type equations, time-fractional evolution equations and elasticity systems. He also carries out multidisciplinary researches and proposes mathematical models for several industrial companies.
